party was so darn funny!!!
i thought i was gg to be the only girl there the whole nite cos there was only guys there when i came in, then karina showed up (yesssssssssssss!!!!).
the party was pretty random. just sat around playing guitar hero and other stuff, then went swimming. came out for pizza and then the guys decided to run around random streets like a bunch of maniacs. went along with them and it lasted....10 mins, before we got dragged back in. cake, more guitar hero, hitting sahil with the guitar, joking around and doing random stuff.

the time comes when you have to stop, take a look and redraw the lines. i've got to make the choices, hard but for the best.
currently I have three sports running together. Track. Swimming. Synchro. technically track season is over for me, but i think that i should train more for that sport, otherwise i will never feel like i've truly explored my potential. and i dont want to crash at the hurdles like that again.
its hard to explain swimming, since synchro and swimming kinda go hand in hand. i dont want to stop synchro (nationals in april!!!) but to pursue track, i'll have to drop swimming, which could affect synchro. then again, i know i'll probably never truly make it in swimming, and i might have a better chance in track. swimming has lost a lot of what it used to mean to me, but i dont think i can really let it go.i suppose when you lose interest, you draw the line to stop there and then.
so with track 2 times a week, synchro 3 times, swimming 3 times, when the heck am i going to study????? thats kinda a big part of the whole equation.
i guess swimming will have to go, unless i can still juggle everything AND do well in school.

crazy day today, found out some stuff, like how some people aren't who i think they are etc.

this is for two people, who call themselves friends: if you want to say all that you have to me, say it now! dont call yourselves friends and then go and bitch behind my back! i rather u come out and tell me like a decent person instead of hiding behind that facade. dont be cowards.

this is for ONE person, who i barely know, who i don't think i want to know: you might be a good runner, but dont go around saying that i'm an easy opponent to beat. this shows just how insecure, arrogant and proud you are!!! just in case you dont want/cant remember, i beat you in the hurdles, so dont claim that 'she's easy to beat'!!!! a good champion knows how to be self confident without being arrogant. im not sure what triggered this in you, but i dont think i want to know

and the friends who told me these things, thanks. its times like this that show who my real friends are, and who are just hypocrites :).

sci trip ystd!!!!!!freaking fun.
spent whole morning doing pendulum stuff, then lunch. after that did car experiment, car kept going off the rails. went to the gravity centre and saw the lab, then went to leaning tower to drop water balloons and ended up playing some balloon game on top with the guys and punching darren(only 5 punches fr all of us, not 50 haha). then dinner and observatory, saw saturn :D.
bus trip back, singing with sambavi and maddy. got back to sch at 10.30 and mum wasnt there, so sat/stood there waiting until 11....

you were in a cross-country run....and you were passed in the last 100metres....and came in 9th(as i saw it in the record sheet i think)...wishing you had sprinted earlier. maybe you might start crying while no one is around, and ask "Why?why did this happen??"(even though there's no one to answer you).....and now you are told that you donthaveaplace in the cross-country team because of just ONEDAMNPLACING.....and you had to face that person telling you that and stop the flow of tears waiting to fall....and you know that it was all your fault....you could have but didnt....now only a reserve or counting on a) that you saw the sheet wrongly or b)that someone in front of you pulls out......and you feel like you've let the whole world down...wasted all the 7am trainings...ran a shit race...in your heart of hearts you know you just ran badly and could have gone faster and made 7th/8th place instead of a shit 9th....
its my fault and i know it and have to live with it. all i can say is that this will never happen again (i hope). nearly worst race of my life....excepting the 1500m race 2 yrs ago....i'm only 15 for goodness sake and i dont think any race after this can possibly be worse.
wishing i could turn the clock back and correct my mistakes....

wed: BEEP TEST. ahhhhhhhhhhhh and i only got 8.1
fri: river run!! basically 6-7km of running by the river(and back to sch)
then had swimming today, and some geog competition thingy during class. and i was basically half asleep during (1st lesson) math, couldnt think properly etc. NEED SUGAR!!!!!!!!

wth my ass hurts now and i cant sit down properly!!!! must be the running and the repitions.
and backstroke during interhouse carnival was soooooooooo weird.i like had to swim against ppl 1 yr older tthan me for backstroke and:a)i have never raced backstroke in my entire life b)my backstroke is so incredibly slow
but praise God, HE was there for me and pulled me thru and i actually WON, and spent the rest of the carnival in like this total shock mode over this shock result.i thought my eyes were seeing things but no, it was true. and free relay was good too, we won by half a pool (YAYYYYYYYY). we were like 2 secs outside sch record :( but still, it was totally AWESUM.

i still hate sch swimming training.
i mean, sometimes i feel its really pointless to go for training. although i guess i do have a obligation to go, its sometimes is meaningless to me. other ppl would say that i just have meaningless issues but its simply down to several reasons(which i wont put down here).
i dont enjoy it.(club)synchro training sometimes covers as much mileage as swimming training.i feel empty when i go for training and train 'half-asleep'.but i think the main reason behind it is just..........

and the whole thing actually went reasonably well. the duet finished 12th out of 15, finally not last!

haha i cut training today. k that is no good 14 DAYS before competition but i have ballet exam today.
training was like 5x1,3x2,10 rounds of the pool running. and i was like supposed to run with cel but i ended up behind anywhere other than with her D: but anw im happy to finally run, even though everyone else hates it. and its fun running with cel.
not much swimming just duet and as i was leaving they started SOLO omg. wth... anw it was ok as a whole.
ballet exam with minmin next. i hope the other two ppl going with us are horrible so we'll score highhighhigh.

im super chaotah now manzz. tues and wed morning training seriously can fry you. im like a hundred times darker and ive got a cap line now. i9ncluding a really clear, obvious tanline that can be seen when i wear my leotard.and my ballet exams on tues. im seriously poning sch training now, at least until malaysia open because i can't take so much. one session until nearly 1pm, and then another at 3pm??? you have got to be joking manssxx.

i'm in this running mood now. must be all those videos of running i've been watching on youtube. The 1980 and 1984 olympics 800m and 1500m races are awesome. and plus its running season at training. bring shoes every session. i want to run sooooooo badly, even though its only around the pool.
my dear duet partner is going on holiday one week before malaysia open.she's going in like 8-9 days. 8-9 days to get every detail perfect for competition. the week she's away im (probably) going to do figures(growl) and SOLO(yayyy!!).

Mt kinabalu trip was fun to the MAAAAXXXXX.
okay...long post ahead...
DAY 1
visited children's home. All those kids were really cute (esp sydney's cute little boy!!) and i guess they taught us to appreciate our lives cos they have so little but their still so happy.
rested at park hq:
roomed with ellen, siewyun, claire
DAY 2
started trek to Laban Rata(3/4 point) at 7am.
walked with jiaying,tisa,christine,yunying,ellen
cherlyn also joined us halfway up cos she was so much faster than a lot of her group
took 6-7hours to get to laban rata
it was freaking 12.2C when we got there!
the last part of the trek was in the rain and it was wet and cold
roomed with: denise,rae,oli,anira,shanice,averyl(the sec ones minus cherlyn) and jiaying
DAY 3
started summit climb at 2am.
i got to sayat-sayat, which was like 400m from the summit
it took some time to get down. i slipped and fell so many times wth
didnt really walk with anyone
went to sabah tea plantation longhouse
bugs there are of inflated size and i found a cockroach in my bed
sydney got a spider in her room

DAY 4 and 5
4: we went rafting. it was pouring like mad but still was freaking fun
after lunch, we were going to the hotel when the bus got stuck on the slope. so we all got out and stood in the rain by the side of the road. then we had to walk up the hill to the bus

5: went shopping again in the same group

Yesterday's training was ok i guess. on the whole, six hours in the pool didn't kill.
swimming training was easier, probably bcos we didn't use flippers and paddles, and a lot of it was underwater swimming or sprinting, so it was sort of a warm up for club training.
club was good, 400m warmup and then duet routine. AND i have to change my solo music bcos CJL wants one slow routine and one fast routine so i suppose i have to learn min's bcos mel's is probably too fast for me. Duet boost was bad. elizabeth and mel kept telling me to turn my leg out when i fall to the side. and elizabeth kept splashing me and ellen with the spoon or spitting pool water at me haha. the best part was audrey and geraldine apparently couldnt rmb their duet routine and we could. weird rite, considering that we r not even doing that duet...
